When most people hear the name Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, they probably think of church services, preaching and Christ Embassy.

Cars might not be the first thing that comes to mind.

That changed this week after the Christ Embassy founder unveiled a range of electric vehicles under a new brand called Tsion, attracting plenty of attention online and opening a rather unexpected chapter in the organisation's technology ambitions.

The vehicles were presented during the New Economy Unveiling 2026, an event focused on economic and innovation-related initiatives.

And yes, there were actual cars on display.

Meet Tsion

Several vehicles were shown during the presentation, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.

The name “OG” also got a little explanation during the presentation. Pastor Chris said it means “Of God.”

Videos from the unveiling quickly began circulating online, turning what might otherwise have been a relatively specialised technology announcement into a major talking point.

It's not every day that people attend a church-related event expecting to see a lineup of electric cars.

From the Pulpit to Electric Vehicles

The announcement is interesting because it takes Christ Embassy into a completely different type of industry.
